For some of us, holidays mean joyful traditions, spiritual grounding, and delicious food! For many of us, this time of year also comes with competiting interests, scheduling between multiple families, budget woes, difficult memories, complicated relationships, and just a little too much!
This year, why not intentionally prepare for whatever the holidays will bring with afternoon of deep self care?
Join me November 17, 2:00-3:30 pm for Yoga Nidra: Guided Meditation for Deep Relaxation.
Yoga nidra or "yogic sleep" is a systematic form of guided meditation in which students learn to focus their awareness on their breath, bodily sensations, emotions, and thoughts.
In this 90-minute workshop, you will:
Move through a 45-minute all-levels yoga practice to prepare you for stillness
Learn the fundamentals of yoga nidra
Experience a 30-minute guided meditation while lying on your back, comforted by blankets and other props
Especially helpful for those prone to anxiety, trouble sleeping, and the negative impacts of daily (and holiday!) stress, this workshop is appropriate for anyone seeking to experience deep relaxation. You'll leave having released all tension through surrendering to the moment, ready for whatever comes next.
